As the Quality Control Technician, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as performing quality check, inspecting product samples and auditing glaze line operations.** **Primary Objective:** Evaluates quality of tile during manufacturing process to ensure specifications are met. **Major Function and Scope:** + Performs quality checks on work in progress for thickness, size, gloss, color, etc. + Inspects product samples to ensure quality standards are met. + Audits glaze line operations to ensure applicators are performing efficiently. + Documents test results. + Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor. + Follows standard operating procedures. + Keeps area safe, clean and organized. + Performs other related duties as required. **Experience and Knowledge Required:** + High school diploma or equivalent + One year of manufacturing/production experience. + Quality control experience preferred. **Competencies** + Good listening skills. + Good record keeping skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Accurate measurement capability. + Ability to read and write in English.
