The Quality Control Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing technical support to internal Beckman Diagnostics Quality Control (QC) organization by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical instrumentation and/or instrument computer systems. Shift is Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm. This position is part of the Quality organization located in Hialeah, Fl. and will be onsite. You will be a part of the Hematology Quality Control team and report to the Manager Quality Control responsible for managing the hematology and microbiology laboratories. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Conducts service, repair and/or installation of instrumentation at internal QC laboratory, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with service maintenance requirements. + Executes testing, sampling, and inspection procedures for raw materials, in-process materials, and/or finished products to ensure that product specifications and company/regulatory requirements are met. + Responsible for data review of quality control tests to ensure product specifications are met and supports investigations and troubleshooting for functionality and performance problems. The essential requirements of the job include: + Associate in science degree with a minimum of 1 year experience working in medical device. + Experience in Good documentation practices, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good laboratory practices (GLP) + Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Regulatory knowledge (FDA, World Health organization, etc.) This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
