This position reports to

Quality Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

•\tConducts Inspection, test protocols as assigned to ensure the parts, assemblies, products and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations. •\tSupports quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing, production, engineering, and other relevant functions.•\tAssists specific quality related training, promoting passion for Quality, integrity in all the actions, and results orientation. •\tProvides feedback to work teams from their internal and external customers to promote alignment between process output and customer expectations. •\tReports quality issues data, ensuring the Quality Management System is adhered to at all stages. •\tAssist the local quality team in implementing and maintaining a Quality system, including audits, controls, training in tools and methods, reporting of quality KPIs and customer cases, and process documentation.•\tEvaluates quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data for the determination of compliance to requirements. •\tSupports implementation and raises opportunities for improvement.•\tCollaborates in improving existing inspection and test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/or reliability of test, inspection outcomes. •\tUtilizes safety systems to perform work, resulting in an accident-free workplace. •\tNotifies others when unsafe situations are observed and works with local HSE teams to improve the safety systems. •\tPerforms assigned tasks in a safe manner that will encourage others to exercise safety in their normal daily activities. •\tPerform the inspection according to engineering order and the product standards. •\tIdentify any non-conformance of the product assembled, adding details to be solved to defect sheets defined. •\tEvaluates quantitative metrics (quality, production, HSE, etc.). •\tPerforms the quality control plan and containment actions\tMaintain and verify quality/production records of the orders. •\tParts or Assemblies Inspection when required for material/NCR. •\tSAP transactions in the defined system (when required). •\tScrap flow process (when required). •\tCommunication of quality inspection topics, as customer issues, alerts, reminders (calibration, checklist, etc.).

Qualifications for the role

Basic:\tExperience/knowledge with Engineering documents/paperwork.\tBasic knowledge to verify materials specs per engineering drawings.\tBasic knowledge of CAD viewers, as windchill/Creo view, Autocad view (as needed).\tBasic knowledge of the QN (quality notification) process.\tGeneral electrical and mechanical knowledge for the products.\tUse of manual and eletrical tools of the manufacturing processes. \tReading and interpretation of drawings, schematics or diagrams of the orders.\tBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office for the position. \tUse of measurement equipment/tools. \tBasic knowledge of electrical safety for the position. \tBasic Windchill knowledge for the quality processes.\tDesirable:\tBasic SAP knowledge for the quality process. \tKnowledge for capturing data and records in the quality systems. \tHSE knowledge proper for the quality position. \tQuality processes and procedures defined (as checklist, instructions, manuals, etc. ISO).
