Job Description Summary

Quality Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and improving upon the quality of manufactured product. Main responsibilities include coordinating control plans, inspection systems and action plans to achieve expected results. Leads, mentors and develops team members to promote quality awareness and implement quality programs and initiatives. Ensures the execution of non-conformance, containment and corrective actions and metrics. Responsible to provide ongoing analysis and physical test results for production process control, product quality assurance, and provide product and material analysis.

Job Description

Assures materials meet established criteria and reports exceptionsOversee the operation of equipment to perform evaluations on production to stay within tolerance and specifications.Conduct appropriate testing using the application of measurement system analysisAdvise management by summarizing data, preparing reports, explaining proposals.Prepare quality improvement team members by identifying training needs, training employees in analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills.Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, providing resources.Maintaining and developing standard operating procedures and work instructions.all other duties assigned.

Required Skills and Education

Basic Qualifications:

B.S. degree or equivalent training required3-5 years experience in quality operations in a manufacturing environmentExperience in FEMA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, CQI-9, and SPC.Experience with gauge calibrationInternal auditing experienceAbility to coach and train

Preferred Qualificiaitons:

CMM ExperienceIATF Lead auditor certificateISO certificationsHigh level of communication skills to work well with others, empower employees, and increase work output.Thorough understanding of Quality SystemsKnowledge of process conformance auditsMicrosoft Office operationsGood oral and written communication skills
