Job Overview:

Oversees process for M & M, peer review, chart analysis and maintains documentation and minutes for quality activities. Acts as quality liaison and communicates effectively with the 3 northern sites of CTS. Maintains current knowledge of industry standards related to cardiac surgery. Initiate and maintains data related to reporting quality initiatives. Works with leadership to develop processes for presentation of quality data.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor s Degree in clinical/healthcare industry required. Minimum of 3-5 years of hospital clinical experience in cardiac services preferred. Knowledge of Office Suite products.

Essential Functions:

Maintains and supports communication to all sites of quality initiatives and outcomesProvides information for OPPE/FPPE processesCompiles and reports information related to all activities for department based quality initiativesFacilitates expert assessments and/or performs case review/root cause analysis Provides detailed summaries of clinical outcomes when requiredOversees and coordinates all activities for Department of CTS for M & MProvides information for Medical staff credentialingMaintains minutes and provides information to support all quality activitiesProvides a compassionate and supportive environment with prompt and consistent service.Adheres to patient rights: provides for the confidential treatment of all communications and records.
