Cabot has an exciting opportunity for a North America (NA) Fumed Metal Oxides (FMO) Quality Coordinator that works within the Quality Control function. The NA FMO Quality Coordinator will work on-site at the Tuscola, Illinois plant.

How You Will Make an ImpactIn this role, you will be responsible for a full range of support to ensure the Quality Department information, analytical data, and documentation are provided to both internal and external customers. Manages all aspects of North America Fumed Metal Oxides ISO/RC Document Control System and work process. The role requires a self-motivated person with a positive attitude, effective time management, organization, and record-keeping skills. A successful candidate will be someone who can:

Ensures accurate Certificates of Analyses (COAs) are generated and interacts with the Cabot customer order management system. Maintains the WebLIMS COA address table with distribution e-mail address information. One of the Quality representatives to troubleshoot COA issues and review errors with quality data. Ensures that any customer waivers for COA’s and shipments are maintained. Performs the secondary data review and final product release of material in WebLIMS and JD Edwards. Performs the segregation process for OQ material. Completes any regrade or item changes in JD Edwards, while ensuring that the material meets Quality specifications.Maintains the Quality records for incoming Raw Materials and Toller materials. Performs the JD Edwards transactions to receive the Raw Materials and Toller materials into inventory. Troubleshoots any inventory or PO issues during monthly reconciliation. Maintains the Business Management System (Document Control) for multi-site locations of work instructions, procedures, forms, policies that complies with ISO, Process Safety Management (PSM), and other industry standards and certifications.Subject Matter Expert for three North American Fumed Metal Oxides site’s Document Control. Enters and troubleshoots any system issues and works with others to reach resolution as needed. Oversees the overall health of the Document Control systems and works with sites as needed.Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® and ISO Management Systems in line with the requirements of the RC14001® and ISO9001 technical specifications.Completes all required reports, records, and measurements, i.e., production records, etc. Maintains the Production Stats tracking for Tuscola site and Carrollton packaged products.Maintains databases and generates standard and ad hoc reports. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring to Cabot High school diploma or equivalent; certificate program preferred.3 to 5 years general secretarial or administrative experience required.Experience with RC14001® and ISO9001 preferred.Skilled in the use of office equipment and related software packages (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, etc), including spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Excellent computer skills and ability to research data on the Internet.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interface with internal managers and employees at all levels as well as outside parties.Organizational skills. Ability to keep track of multiple details and establish priorities. Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.

The salary range for this role is from $20.53 to $28.25. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skill, qualifications, experience and location.
