Job Description
Develop, implement, and continuously improve a quality program that increases customer satisfaction and facilitates business success. Foster a culture of quality performance, execution, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Lead, train, and assist quality personnel to oversee quality-related activities in conjunction with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, customer support, and other departments/functions that affect the quality of the organization’s goods or services.
ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and coach the QC team through regular meetings and performance management, setting and achieving individual and team goals that align with department and site strategies.Develop and monitor performance measures to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of the QC team’s output.Promote a pro-active quality culture, including proactive quality engagements with internal and external parties.Establish and maintain a quality management system that facilitates business success. Measure, assess, and communicate results of QMS performance and assure pursuit of customer satisfaction.Ensure Quality Systems are robust, effective, and executed.Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, standards, and customer requirements, staying up-to-date with changes and implementing necessary adjustments.Develop and maintain a risk management program to identify, evaluate, and mitigate quality-related risks throughout the product lifecycle.Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and partner with suppliers to implement improvement plans when necessary.Develop and maintain tools to monitor QC resource capacity, providing insights to management and production planners to address capacity constraints.Support operations, engineering, customer support, supply chain, and other internal customers with quality KPIs, data, and analysis to drive to root cause identification and corrective/preventive actions.Participate in the review of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations.Provide reports on supplier performance and issues via metrics and reports for the selection, development, and management of suppliers.Manage the budget for the QC department, analyzing spending and identifying corrective actions for variances.Own processes for control of non-conforming material through material reviews, timely disposition of suspect product, and follow-up to drive corrective actions.Ensure quality control points are effective.Plan and complete projects, prepare status reports, and deliver presentations to customers and management, showcasing our outstanding quality standards.Essential SkillsExperience in an industry with regulatory requirements and high-quality standards.Demonstrated high level of competency in the application of Quality Tools, Six Sigma Programs, DOE’s, and Lean Thinking.Mechanical and Electrical print and specification interpretation.Ability to influence and change behaviors without direct authority.Team-oriented and customer-driven.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in HVAC, Quality Inspection, schematics, diagrams, and parts.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is based in a high-volume production environment within one of our corporate headquarters. The facility includes a large assembly warehouse as well as extensive office space.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Frederick, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
