**Job Title: Document Control Specialist**
**Job Description**
The Document Control Specialist manages and maintains the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy. The role includes creating ballooned prints and ensuring proper version control and archiving. The role ensures document accessibility, approval, and distribution, supporting efficient communication across departments. This position offers flexible hours, with shifts available from Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm, or 9 am - 5:30 pm (or in between).
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
+ Oversee and control production prints, including ballooning and revision tracking.
+ Ensure proper version control, approval, and archiving of all controlled documents.
+ Monitor document compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
+ Support audits and ensure all documents are readily available for inspection.
+ Create training lessons and monitor their schedule.
+ Organize production print and inspection package for release.
+ Review and revise existing procedures.
+ Summarize quality data and report results to management.
+ Communicate across different departments on projects.
+ Perform general administrative responsibilities.
+ Complete all other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
+ Able to type on a keyboard.
+ Must be organized, reliable, and able to learn.
+ Must work independently with limited supervision.
+ Must be able to read manufacturing prints.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with GD&T, ASTM standards is a plus.
+ Experience with production/manufacturing is a plus.

**Work Environment**
The manufacturing floor is very clean and the whole site is air-conditioned. There are some cleanroom areas and many CNC machines on the floor performing runs. The quality department operates both in the office within the manufacturing area and in the main office.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Libertyville, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
