Assures accurate, complete clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians, nursing staff, other patient caregivers, and Health Information coding staff to support the level of service rendered to all patients. Supports timely, accurate and complete documentation of clinical information used for measuring and reporting physician and Hospital outcomes. Educates all members of the patient care team on an ongoing basis. **Buffalo, NY** **Location:** Larkin Bldg @ Exchange Street **Recruiter:** Salihah Sikes **Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in a health related profession. 5 years recent clinical experience in a hospital setting, or 4 years recent clinical experience and two years ICD-9 Coding experience (optional). Utilization Review or coding experience preferred. For Behavioral Health: Masters level or higher training (degree) in a behavioral health field plus 2 years experience in outpatient behavioral health direct service required.
