The Quality Engineer monitors customer and internal KPIs, champions improvements through analysis, and implements corrections using quality tools like Process Mapping, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, Kaizens, A3s, fishbones, and root cause analysis. They develop inspection plans for the inspection department and interface with program customers and management.

Schedule: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm 
Pay: $38.50 

Job Duties

Contribute to design quality and craftsmanship during development. Collaborate with quality control and production to drive continuous improvement. Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction KPIs. Analyze internal data like nonconformances and corrective actions. Address program quality issues with customers. Utilize quality tools (Process Mapping, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, Kaizens, A3s, fishbones, root cause analysis) for improvements. Develop quality improvement plans. Create and manage inspection plans. Review and approve engineering, purchasing, and planning documents. Assist with internal and external audits. Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) and CCB (Change Control Board). Submit non conformance documents to customers. Ensure compliance with company guidelines during audits. Identify and understand customer requirements. Resolve supplier problems and provide solutions.
