The Quality Engineering function at Ultra Maritime verifies compliance to company processes and documented procedures to ensure a robust Quality Management System is in place throughout the business. The function identifies, maintains and recommends quality business improvement processes required to maintain company quality approvals, working closely with all levels of internal and external customers including approval authorities.Nationality Requirements

Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
Manage the internal audit process to ensure compliance to the Quality Management System.
Create, collect, analyze and maintain company performance metrics including on-time-delivery, non-conformances, and supplier defects. Report results to broader company population.
Ensure inspection and other equipment meets Quality Control standards. Make suggestions and improvements to procedures, standards, processes and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
Responsible for the compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.
Perform root-cause analysis; consult and advise other departments as to corrective measures.
Developing and implementing corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Interface with customer and government quality representatives regarding audits, corrective actions, acceptance testing, and other quality matters.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
Support inspection dept in efficient processing of parts to support manufacturing product lines
Lead the efforts to develop maintain and deploy quality plans and activities that translate customer requirements into planned activities
Perform analyses of program requirements and prepare responsive quality plans, procedures, schedules ensure optimum quality support
Providing training and guidance to team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
Maintaining documentation and records related to quality control activities.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Requires Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Management
This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
Strong capability in Inspection, Quality Control & Assurance methods, techniques, and equipment
Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9100 requirements
Knowledge and familiarity with statistical quality control techniques
Ability to read and interpret complicated drawings
Skill in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of use of wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated drawings
Ability to read small text and handwriting
Manual dexterity required and able to perform repetitive tasks
Frequently required to stand
Ability to visually examine parts and documents
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
