Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Engineer in Huntington Beach, CA.

As a Quality Engineer you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMonitor and analyze customer satisfaction KPIs\r\n\tMonitor and analyze internal data such as nonconformance and corrective actions\r\n\tCreate quality improvement plans, and inspection plans.\r\n\tInterface with customer on program quality issues. \r\n\tImprove and problem solve using quality tools such as process mapping, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma\r\n\tReview and approve engineering documents.\r\n\tReview and approve purchasing and planning documents.\r\n\tAssist with audits.\r\n\tParticipate in MRB and CCB\r\n\tAssist with audits to company guidelines.\r\n\tAssist with supplier problems, provides problem solving and resolutions.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Skills:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStrong trouble shooting skills and communication skills.\r\n\tAdvanced Spreadsheet building and Microsoft Office Skills.\r\n\tAbility to read engineering drawings, specifications and other related literature is necessary.\r\n\tProficient with general quality systems and with the following tools: Process mapping, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, Kaizens, A3s, fishbones\r\n\tASQ Quality Engineer Certificate desired\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $38.50/hr (temp to hire)

\r\n\r\n

Shift: 1st- Monday through Friday 6am-3:30pm with OT until 6pm (12hr a day)

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
