Quality Engineer

This is what sets us (and you, if you join us…) apart from the crowd. Salary: $65K-$80K/yr DOE **Responsibilities** 1. Develop and maintain quality system procedures to achieve the company stated objectives in conjunction with and as directed by the Quality Manager. 2. To develop and maintain customer and industry specification controls and procedures needed to perform to customer purchase order requirements. 3. To provide training as directed for the quality system procedures, quality planning and corrective/preventative actions. 4. Assist in the nonconformance reporting, investigation and resolution in conjunction with the Quality Manager and Department Managers. 5. Assist and monitor the effectiveness of preventative maintenance and equipment calibration programs as defined in the Quality Manual. 6. Perform the internal audits as defined by the Quality Manual. 7. Scheduling calibrations on all equipment in timely manner to ensure that operations are never interrupted due to out of calibration situation. 9. Review and approve all calibration certs from vendors and maintain all equipment calibration records. **Skills / Qualifications** Is this job for me? You will: + Minimum 1 year of Aerospace Quality experience + Previous NADCAP audit prep and participation experience a plus + Passion for quality systems + Passion for process improvement NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
