We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer in our Aircraft Systems Group  in Poway, California.

Under supervision this individual develops, modifies, documents and directs the implementation and evaluation of quality assurance programs and systems on one or more mid-size to large projects. Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting quality standards and government regulations. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards are in place. Works on moderately complex and diverse problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Drive proactive continuous improvement efforts in CAPA program performance.​Ensure effective root cause problem solving activities and successful identification of systemic issues and corrective action.Conduct regular performance reviews of the CAPA program. Participate as needed in the selection, evaluation, quality requirement flow down, and monitoring of CAPA program development activities.  Monitor metrics, maintain and review to promote continued and/or sustained success.Prepare and provide quality presentations for reactive and proactive activities.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
