Do you have knowledge and awareness of different quality tools? We are looking for an experienced  Quality Engineer, who will sustain and develop functional and product quality inside the factory functions.

By joining our team you will have the opportunity to be the leading voice of the customer quality within the value stream. Additionally, you will follow up the quality of the incoming goods and packages from a safety perspective.
This position will be based in Dundalk, Ireland. You will report to the Value Stream Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities Follow up and reporting of quality deviations and defects caused by suppliers and own production Approval,invoicing and follow up of inhouse technical claims Suppliers co-operation related to the quality deviations, individual countermeasures as well as corrective actions Conduct internal and external quality audits Update daily SQDIP boards with quality metrics Support Value Stream with training on the use of Problem Solving methodology. Act as the quality lead for a value stream.
  What you’ll need to succeed BSc of technology, quality, engineering or similar. Experience from quality function and relevant experience from mechanical industry and assembly operations Technical understanding of manufactured products and it’s functionality Understanding of technical drawings Communication and collaboration skills Process and analytical thinking Fluency in English both written and verbal
