Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality Engineer - Shreveport, Louisiana Transformers Job Description The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing/production quality. The candidate must be proficient in GD&T and Root Cause Analysis. Preference will be given to candidates with welding experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of AWS, Statistical Process Control, KPI Management, ISO 9001, UL (Underwriters Laboratories). The role requires strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills, the ability to influence others and lead small teams, and the capability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Hard Skills + Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical OR Mechanical preferred) + Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing/production quality + GD&T - Metal Fabrication + Root Cause Analysis + Welding experience in manufacturing (Preferred) + AWS (Preferred) + Statistical Process Control (Preferred) + KPI Management (Preferred) + UL (Underwriters Laboratories) (Recommended) Soft Skills + Strong oral and written communication skills + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills + Ability to influence others and lead small teams + Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously + Effective problem identification and solution skills + Proven analytical and organizational ability Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
