Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description Responsible for monitoring Supplier Quality and working closely with the Supplier on a variety of activities. Responsible for MRB meetings and reviewing Supplier Corrective Action. Support and Lead Supplier Quality audits, Validation work, oversee Incoming Inspection Department and QM Module in SAP. Responsible for all Buy Specifications and their associated specifications. Responsibilities + Monitor Supplier Quality and collaborate closely with suppliers on various activities. + Lead MRB meetings and review Supplier Corrective Actions. + Support and lead Supplier Quality audits and validation work. + Oversee the Incoming Inspection Department and manage the QM Module in SAP. + Ensure all Buy Specifications and their associated specifications are met. Essential Skills + Quality engineering + Validation + Medical device expertise + PPAP + Supplier quality management + Audit experience + APQP + Quality management system Additional Skills & Qualifications + Lean Six Sigma + Continuous Improvement + Experience with Medical Device documentation + Bachelor's degree in an engineering field Work Environment Located in Columbus, NE, the facility is clean, well-lit, and highly automated. The plant includes some older sections from the 60s, with several expansions over the years. The office space is modern, with updated conference rooms equipped with the newest technology for collaboration, and individual cubicles. The dress code is casual - polo and jeans with tennis shoes are acceptable. PPE will be provided prior to entering the factory floor.
