Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for excellence? Look no further! We’re on the hunt for an exceptional Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for analyzing production and quality data to identify trends and facilitate problem-solving initiatives. This role will ensure the maintenance of management system procedures, sampling procedures, and systems for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data. The Quality Engineer will conduct economic impact analyses, prepare detailed reports, and manage implementation and training activities. Additionally, the role will develop and maintain inspection programs for incoming, in-process, and final product inspections, while also performing process and product audits to evaluate the effectiveness of quality controls.

Responsibilities
Perform a full range of tasks aligned with professional quality engineering practices, applying advanced skills to resolve complex problems not addressed by existing procedures. Manage control plans for product manufacturing processes. Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors and team leads to ensure quality and production efficiency. Establish process metric goals in collaboration with the Quality Manager and Leadership Team. Implement quality inspection instructions specific to production areas and product types. Ensure effective utilization of the non-conformance reporting system for timely management of quality issues. Document process/product non-conformities, follow-up on corrective actions, and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Lead non-conformance investigations using the 8D problem-solving methodology. Initiate preventive actions to mitigate non-conformities in products, processes, and the quality system. Track and report internal quality performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement in quality performance using tools such as Capability Assessment, MSA/GRR, DMAIC, FMEA, SPC, 8D Methodology, and Lean Manufacturing. Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Cost of Quality data to identify trends and drive actions to reduce internal and external failure costs. Contribute to the development of quality standards, policies, programs, plans, and procedures. Supervise hourly Quality InspectorsBasic Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in a quality-related role within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred) or a related field. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to interpret technical part drawings and specifications. (Experience with electrical controls and wiring schematics is a plus.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset. Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in manufacturing quality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge of quality tools and methodologies. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred. Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus. Experience with metal fabrication and assembly processes (e.g., shearing, stamping, forming, welding, painting, and plating). Familiarity with electrical wiring standards, methods, and electrical testing is beneficial.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

The pay for this position is $101,300 - $173,800 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
