Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

The Quality Engineer will directly support and improve our customers' quality management systems. The role involves conducting internal audits to comply with ISO9001 standards, monitoring areas of responsibility to maintain and improve required quality requirements while controlling/reducing costs and not negatively impacting safety. The Quality Engineer will support internal and external customers related to quality issues and problem-solving, perform PPAP/FAI related tasks and reporting, and conduct PPAP, FMEA, FAIR & Control Plans as needed.

ResponsibilitiesSupport and improve customers' quality management systems.Conduct internal audits to comply with ISO9001 standards.Monitor and maintain required quality requirements while controlling/reducing costs.Support internal and external customers with quality issues and problem-solving.Perform PPAP/FAI related tasks and reporting.Conduct PPAP, FMEA, FAIR & Control Plans as needed.Manage QMS, Customer Complaints, NCMR, and PPAP/PFMEA/FAI processes.Oversee quality-related processes and metrics.Implement corrective and preventative actions.Essential SkillsExperience with corrective actions.Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.Quality engineering and quality assurance expertise.Experience with PPAP/PFMEA/FAI processes.Familiarity with NADCAP AC7120 and AC7121.Experience with AS9100 standards.electronics manufacturing and PCB industry.Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in engineering preferred, but not necessary.Troubleshooting skills.Experience with IPC 610 and IPC 620.
