Cleveland-Cliffs is currently seeking a Quality Engineer at our Mansfield, OH plant. The Quality Engineer is accountable for performing technical review of customer specifications and purchase orders to ensure that products meet customer requirements.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Maintain and control data inputs to metallurgical systemsInvestigate and resolve customer order problems relating to manufacturing and customer materialAssist various departments to resolve technical product issuesSupport Sales Order Entry processes (RFQ, Spec Review, and Capability)Develop Routing to meet Customer SpecificationsMaintain Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing of products Product development trials for processingDisposition non-conforming materialOther duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy/Material Science or other related disciplineExtensive computer skillsExcellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

3 or more years’ experience in steel processing, steelmaking or industrial environment
