Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in quality engineering, risk analysis, and quality management systems. This role involves investigating and resolving production problems, representing quality for programs and customers, and supporting audits. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced technology in the aerospace and defense industry.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain quality procedures from various industry and aerospace specifications.Investigate, assess, and resolve production problems in a team environment.Represent Quality for Programs and Customers.Review drawings for flowdown and best practices.Plan and review component testing and traceability documentation (rad-hard, lead forming, re-tinning).Define and control circuit card assembly processes for radiation-hardened environments.Review and approve component First Article Inspections (FAIs).Coordinate completion of customer FAIs.Support in-process product reviews.Prepare and review Acceptance Data Packages.Support customer and internal audits.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.4+ years of experience in a quality-related function, or related internship experience for recent graduates.Experience in data analysis and procedure writing.Experience with radiation-hardened (rad-hard) components.Ability to interpret Military, Commercial aircraft, and Space level specifications and standards.Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings.Knowledge of Quality Management Systems - AS9100, ISO 9001, TS16949.Knowledge of special processes including critical finishes, chemical conversion, soldering, crimping, non-destructive, and destructive analysis methods.Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions with all levels of personnel and external agents.Strong computer literacy with MS Office/PC expertise and experience with applicable systems and programs.Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearanceAdditional Skills & QualificationsWork experience with radiation-hardened components.Experience in data analysis and procedure writing is preferred.Work Environment

Flexible work schedule options are available, including a compressed work week of 4, 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday with Fridays off, or 4, 9-hour days from Monday to Thursday and 4 hours on Friday. This position requires 100% on-site work at our new engineering center in Parsippany, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $80.00
