Quality Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Quality Engineer with automotive experience to ensure quality control processes, manage supplier quality, and conduct internal audits.

Job Requirements:

Minimum three years of experience in a similar role within OEM/Heavy Truck Tier 1 supplier environments.

2-3 years of project management and Supplier Quality Management experience.

Experience with internal audits and familiarity with IATF 16949 certification.

Quality certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with gaging tools and techniques.

Knowledge of Six Sigma, 8D, 5S, Kaizen, APQP, PPAP, GD&T.

Practical application of Project Management, Warranty Analysis, Reliability Projections (Weibull, Probability Distributions), Design for Six Sigma.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes.

Manage supplier quality and conduct internal audits.

Utilize various quality improvement methodologies to enhance product reliability.



Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
