Job Title: Quality Engineer Job Description Currently looking for a Quality Engineer. This individual will work closely with customers and the manufacturing floor to ensure customer requirements are met through the specifications on control plans. This position will also assist in updating and reviewing control plans, PPAP's, and PFMEA's. This individual will act as a liaison between the company and customer regarding basic quality reports and concerns. The main customers supported at this location are Ford, Stellantis, and Subaru. Responsibilities + Assist in the development of launch-related timelines, gate books, and other customer-specific launch documentation. + Communicate directly with customers regarding quality reports or concerns, including corrective action responses. + Complete all aspects of the PPAP process. + Lead the development of production documentation, including Control Plan, PFMEA, and Standardized Work. + Monitor customer-supplied warranty data and supplier PPAP files. + Work with employees when customer issues arise to ensure corrective action is implemented and effective. Essential Skills + Quality engineering + PPAP + Root cause analysis + Quality assurance + IATF Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field and 3+ years of experience in Quality OR 8+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer + Tier One automotive experience; Stellantis or Subaru Experience would be a plus + Experience with 8D Problem Solving methodologies + Prior experience and knowledge of maintaining IATF standards + Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5-S, Total Quality Concepts, and Six Sigma Work Environment Tier I automotive supplier that manufactures windows (windshields, rear, etc.) for several OEM companies (Ford, Stellantis, Subaru). This position will require you to be out on the floor troubleshooting quality issues and performing root cause analysis. The facility is clean, but some areas can be a little warm due to the ovens and other equipment used to make their product. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
