Description
This position is accountable for the development and maintenance of customer complaints and resolution process, troubleshoots equipment, tooling, and materials for samples and production. The Quality Engineer is responsible for preparing KPIs, administering customer complaints, and supporting quality inspectors
• Maintain or administer the customer complaint and resolution system
• Prepare and analyze various KPI’s and reports
• Responsible for special continuous projects, print revision file and the calibration program
• Responsible for the management of the Quality department during the absence of the Quality Manager
• Provide technical support the SPC and inspection programs as required
• Participates in promoting safety, and performs necessary functions to adhere to ISO/AS standards
• Eliminates waste and improves processes using the systems of Lean Manufacturing and Engineering.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by management
• Participate in lean activities such as Kaizen Workshops
Additional Skills & Qualifications
EDUCATION
• Preferred 4 year technical degree;
EXPERIENCE
4 year Technical Degree preferred but not required
Knowledge of ISO, AS and QS 9000 quality systems
Knowledge of MS Excel
Minimum 1-5 years of of Quality Experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
