Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for driving decision-making and providing oversight of our quality systems. In this role, you will work with and influence key stakeholders to develop and maintain QA procedures, forms, and systems, following structured documentation and quality control procedures.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing a QMS system in a manufacturing environmentPlan and facilitate quality system needs including QC strategy, maintenance of quality records, driving quality policy, and developing standard operating proceduresTrack and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Work with management to identify new quality improvement opportunitiesPerform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvementDesign and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspectionDevelop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measuresEstablish quality control procedures to ensure conformance of manufacturing to engineered drawingsEnsure standardized procedural documentation is accurate, up to date, and utilizedParticipate in internal and external quality auditsMaintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplaceAdvocate for and promote a safe work environment by reporting near misses and other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE, and encouraging others to do the sameCompile and supervise the lessons learned database and perform auditing techniques for complianceMaintain service departmental feedback, determine and implement solutions for issues on-siteAbility to work well as part of a team, accept and provide feedback and instruction, as well as work independentlyEssential SkillsBachelor's Degree3+ years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environmentExperience with root cause and risk analysisLean Manufacturing experienceKnowledge of QMSAdditional Skills & QualificationsProject Management experienceAutoCAD and/or SolidWorks experienceAir Compressor industry experienceWork Environment

This position will be working out of our facility in West Chester, OH. The site has about 40-50 employees and this role will require mainly on-site work. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a division creating exciting new technologies, with significant opportunities for growth. You will be the sole individual responsible for all quality control at this facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
