We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. This role provides a clear path for career growth, with opportunities for future advancement into the Plant Quality Manager position. The Quality Engineer will work collaboratively across Manufacturing, Design, and Supply Chain teams to develop and implement quality control processes that drive innovation and ensure product excellence. Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Partner with cross-functional teams, including New Product Development and Sustaining Engineering, to support product launches and continuous improvements.

Develop and implement inclusive, effective quality processes, including inspection methods, audit procedures, SPC applications, and sampling plans.

Analyze product audit and test data to ensure compliance with functional requirements and drive proactive improvements.

Identify recurring quality issues and lead collaborative efforts for corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

Conduct failure analyses and contribute to problem-solving initiatives that enhance product performance and manufacturing processes.

Champion continuous improvement efforts, such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 8D, and 5S programs, to optimize quality and efficiency.

Build relationships with suppliers and evaluate their performance to enhance supply chain quality.

Support external audits (UL, NSF, CSA, IAPMO) and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Act as a delegate for the Quality Manager when needed, demonstrating leadership and adaptability.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

 

Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis, capability analysis, and SPC.

Ability to interpret technical documentation and GD&T standards with a problem-solving mindset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) and data analysis tools (Minitab).

Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

3-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with Injection Molding and Blow Molding processes.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
