Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, root cause analysis, and statistical process control. This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes and addressing customer complaints with effective solutions.

ResponsibilitiesPerform root cause analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).Utilize statistical and problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5Y, and Fishbone.Gather data and analyze trends in statistical process control (SPC).Update and maintain quality standards used in manufacturing cells.Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) team activities, including Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and process flow.Utilize Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to comply with automotive supplier processes.Meet with end customers to address complaints and provide effective solutions.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree preferred; will consider more experience if no degree.At least 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.Experience adhering to industry standards (IATF, TS16949, or ISO).Auditing experience (preparing for audits or auditing others).PPAP experience - writing, modifying, or submitting.Experience working with end customers and resolving complaints and compliance issues.Additional Skills & QualificationsAutomotive industry experience is preferred.Experience working with or supporting GM, Ford, Stellantis, Honda.Six Sigma Green Belt certification.Continuous improvement mindset.Work Environment

This is a first shift position, starting between 6:30-7 AM and ending between 3-3:30 PM. The role is 100% onsite. You will report to the Quality Manager and work alongside one other Quality Engineer and four Quality Technicians.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
