Below are some details about the position: + BENEFITS: YES + PAY: $75K to 90K an hour depending on experience + SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: On-site Description: + The focus will be on developing and implementing new and improved inspection techniques on multiple production stages + Collaborating with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and customers to investigate and address complaints, defective products, and quality problems + Daily 'hands-on' inspection layout responsibilities to assist with in-process, receiving, and final inspection + Coordinating and communicating activities within Quality Assurance, as well as with other functional departments to meet customer on-time-delivery requirements. + Customer-facing responsibilities which include non-conformance review, driving root cause analysis, and documenting corrective actions + Analyze complaint data to identify hidden trends and initiate corresponding corrective actions + Evaluate and approve raw material, in-process production, and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual, and measurement verifications and tests + Become an expert on all aspects of gaging, including gage selection, procurement, calibration, maintenance, and training of operators/inspectors in how to use gages/equipment + Participate in the development of Control/Inspection Plans, SOPs, and Work Instructions + Assist in the development of the quality management system and support the company’s initiative to obtain ISO9001 certification + Perform audits, internal and at the supplier level + Assist in identifying & driving continuous improvement opportunities MUST HAVES: + BS Degree in Engineering with 2 years plus quality engineering (electrical/electronic) experience OR 5 years plus quality engineering (electrical/electronic) experience + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; pivot tables, statistical trending, data analysis, etc. + Knowledge of Six Sigma tools + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and drawings + CAPA + Root Cause Analysis experience NICE TO HAVES: + PPAP + ISO 9001 environment exposure/certifications + Auditing experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr. 100% company-paid benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage401k with company match Paid time off/Holiday pay A positive and collaborative work environment Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Aurora,OH.
