Job Description

This position is for a Quality Resident Engineer on-site at the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant. The main role is to act as a liaison with the plant and serve as the point of contact for any issues related to wire harnesses. This position demands a high level of customer service and excellent communication skills to ensure the client (Ford) is well taken care of. The engineer will use root cause analysis to identify countermeasures and implement them in the field. The role may involve coordinating sorts or fixing wire harness issues on the line. The job requires a lot of walking as the plant is large, and the individual must be able to work independently. Training will be on the day shift for 2 months, followed by a switch to C shift (Friday/Saturday 6 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday/Monday 6 p.m.-4 a.m.).

The Ford Kentucky Truck Plant is a very large manufacturing assembly plant. The role requires extensive walking to cover different areas and needs. The company has a workstation on the plant floor. Training will be on the day shift for 2 months, followed by a switch to C shift (Friday/Saturday 6 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday/Monday 6 p.m.-4 a.m.).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
