Job Description
- Perform root cause analysis and implement CAPAs
- Utilize statistical and problem solving tools like 8D and 5Y and Fishbone
- Gather data and analyze trends in statistical process control (SPC)
- Update and maintain quality standards used in manufacturing cells
- Participate in APQP team activities like PFMEA and process flow
- Utilize PPAPs to comply with automotive supplier processes
- Meet with end customers to address complaints and provide solutions
Must Have
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required
- 2+ years experience in Quality Engineering
- Experience adhering to industry standards (IATF, 16949, or ISO)
- Auditing experience (preparing for audits or auditing others)
- PPAP experience - writing, modifying, or submitting
- Working with end customers and resolving complaints and compliance issues
Plus:
- Automotive industry experience is preferred
- Experience working with or supporting GM, Ford, Stellantis, Honda
- Six sigma green belt
- Continuous improvement
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
