Job Description: + Lead in-depth analysis of quality problems, including parts measurements, to take action that will minimize the impact to the downstream customers (Manufacturing Depts) + Prepare and submit technical documents to communicate quality problems with suppliers using the NARS Honda Trouble Report system (HTR’s), and present details to initiate countermeasure action + Set technical requirements for supplier part change points using the NA Change Point Control System (CPCS) and evaluate quality documents before management review + Lead complex problem-solving analyses and investigations. + Lead supplier Quality Assurance Visits (QAVs) to communicate concerns and confirm countermeasures are implemented that eliminate non-conforming conditions + Mentor new associates within group on problem solving, procedures, and Parts Quality role and responsibilities. + Perform judgment, disposition, and handling functions for non-conforming part problems.
