The Quality Engineer will be responsible for quality engineering activities primarily supporting Product Safety, Compliance, Reliability Testing, Quality Management System (ISO 9001) & Supplier Quality. This key role a critical to protect and grow our multi-million-dollar global account(s) for many of the world’s most popular playing Card Games, Trading Card Games, and Board Game brands in the world!
What you’ll do as a Quality Engineer:
+ Support key Customer account quality: Execute APQP, PPAP & support PFMEAs, Work Instructions, SOPs, & Control plans
+ Support production with Root Cause Analysis, NC material handling, process improvements, and Training
+ Monitor Supplier Quality KPI & coordinate with vendors to close out CARs
+ Responsible for conformity of products with chemical and physical requirements of toy legislation and other relevant legislation.
+ Responsible for the conformity of the products with the chemical and physical requirements of customer-specific product safety requirements.
+ Monitor KPIs (Scrap, Rework, Customer Complaints etc.), develop & execute improvement plans. Initiate projects to improve process capability.
+ Conduct product/process/supplier/quality system audits and employ formal problem-solving techniques to ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
+ Collaborate with business partners to streamline processes and procedures & support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
+ Coordinate closely with Account managers, QC personnel, and Production supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction
Facilitate cross-functional teams to resolve customers’ quality concerns or issues.
We’re looking for a New Quality Engineer with:
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or Management
+ Two or more years’ experience in Quality Assurance in an ISO manufacturing industry.
+ Knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes.
+ Understanding of product safety and reliability.
+ ISO 9001 Quality Systems & Regulatory Compliance.
+ Familiarity with quality management tools, concepts, methodology, auditing, inspecting, sampling, materials testing, data recording, interpretation, and analysis.
+ ASQ - CQE Certification or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is a plus.
+ Exposure to 16CFR Part 1250/ASTMF963/EN71 will be a plus.
+ Experience in printing and packaging is a plus.

Physical requirements and working conditions:
Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
+ Must be able stand and walk throughout shift, lift or move 35 pounds
+ Environment is climate controlled and indoors
+ This position is located on-site in our Dallas facility
