What Matters Most:
$100k+ base salary with performance-based bonus.Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule.Located in Bridgeport, CT – on-site role.Direct hire opportunity with a company committed to quality and innovation.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to ensure product and process compliance with industry standards while driving continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong analytical mindset and experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:Investigate and resolve quality issues, conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions.Lead Management Review Board (MRB) meetings and maintain quality documentation.Monitor supplier quality performance and implement improvement initiatives.Conduct risk assessments and contribute to new product development projects.Perform inspections, document findings, and drive continuous process enhancements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in quality assurance or engineering.Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of Six Sigma, lean methodologies, and quality tools (FMEA, control charts, Pareto analysis).Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong documentation skills.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Benefits and Perks:
