Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of quality control systems, from development through application to maintenance, ensuring the efficient conversion of raw materials into high-quality finished products. This role encompasses the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of methods and procedures for rigorous inspection, testing, and evaluation.

ResponsibilitiesSpearhead the design, deployment, and optimization of quality control systems to ensure consistent product quality.Pioneer and refine inspection, testing, and evaluation methods to maintain stringent quality standards.Act as the primary point of contact for both external clients and internal stakeholders, addressing concerns related to nonconformances, process changes, and compliance auditing.Continuously monitor and improve quality control processes to align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards and protocols.Ensure adherence to federal and local law regulations, internal policies, and other applicable rules including ISO/TS, ISO, and OHSAS requirements.Drive continuous improvement of work and activities.Ensure compliance with the corporate mission statement.Collaborate with others in a spirit of mutual respect.Thoroughly fulfill all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities.Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner.Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.Adhere to 5S principles.Essential SkillsQuality engineeringRoot cause analysisPPAPAuditISO 9001APQPCorrective action plansTroubleshootingPFMEAAdditional Skills & QualificationsBS in Mechanical Engineering2-5 years experience in Quality engineering (PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Root Cause/Corrective Action)Experience in Metallurgy (Nice to have)Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $93000.00/yr.
