Job Description
The Stamping Engineering team is looking for an Engineering Services partner to support them with Quality Data Collection for the production line
ResponsibilitiesEngage and work closely with all team members and production on the lines.Observe and capture defects on TWB parts coming off the automated TWB manufacturing lines.Record defect attributes in Excel sheet templates for analysis.Collect data for analysis from automated inspection machines on the line (with training).Monitor quality through EHR system checks.Alter and improve quality by studying weld parameters.Develop standards for operators to help improve quality while running the lines.Work with production to research blank quality creating weld issues.Perform other related data collection and analysis activities as directed by project stakeholders.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft tools, especially Excel.Experience in data analysis.Knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing processes.Excellent communication skills.Strong problem-solving abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsEngineering degree required (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).Willingness to work day and night shifts as needed.Open to working overtime (5-10 hours a week possible).Work Environment
Production/manufacturing setting.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
