Quality Engineer
Job Description: Quality Engineer

We are seeking an AS9100 Quality Engineer who has experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and has been involved in audits. This role does not require a degree, and the ideal candidate will be bilingual. The position involves 70% documentation and 30% floor work.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with implementing, maintaining, and improving the company's AS9100 compliant QMS, including policies, procedures, and documentation.Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with AS9100 standards, identifying non-conformances, and initiating corrective actions.Evaluate and manage supplier quality to ensure they meet AS9100 requirements.Analyze quality data to identify areas for improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives.Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions.Routinely update corrective action plans, risk assessments, and non-conformances.Provide training to employees on quality standards, procedures, and documentation.Collaborate with customers to address quality concerns and ensure satisfaction.Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products.Generate reports on quality metrics and compliance status to management.Essential SkillsExperience with AS9100Quality assuranceRoot cause analysisQuality Management Systems (QMS)AuditNon-conformance managementQuality controlCorrective action plansSupplier quality managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsNADCAP experience is a plusPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
