Summary: Seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain quality standards and protocols for advanced heart pump systems, ensuring efficient failure analysis and product improvement.

Job Requirements:

Experience in failure analysis of devices/components with alleged malfunctions Familiarity with Mechanical Circulatory Support systems, specifically LVADs Experience with quality standards implementation in medical device manufacturing

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in complex product analysis and investigations Capability to develop and implement methods and procedures for product analysis Expertise in engineering project management to improve analysis and investigation processes

Job Responsibilities:

Modify and maintain quality protocols for post-market analysis of heart pump systems Perform and direct complex failure analysis to determine root causes of device malfunctions Collaborate with multiple functions to ensure comprehensive returned product investigations Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation complies with regulatory requirements Complete detailed reviews of log files and system testing results to correlate events with mechanical issues Generate detailed investigation reports and obtain necessary release approvals

Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
