As a Quality Engineer you will support critical programs throughout their life-cycle to ensure compliance, work in cross-functional teams to facilitate continuous improvement and use various tools to extract data for trending and analysis.

**Responsibilities:**
As a Quality Engineer I, you'll ensure all quality standards are met for our products and production equipment. You'll be responsible for designing and testing our processes, mechanisms, and equipment, and development of standardized quality acceptance criteria. You'll manage non-conforming material, write inspection plans, assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections, obtain disposition, and implement corrective action as needed, as well as support internal and external audits. Your technical responsibilities include planning, organizing, and conducting our projects involving the design and development of new evaluation and control processes utilizing statistical analysis and other control/risk mitigation techniques.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience
+ Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
+ Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
+ Knowledge of Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements
+ Experience in manufacturing and inspection
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures
+ Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9001 standards
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Computer knowledge and capability to work in ERP/MRP systems
+ Data mining, capability to run trends and interpret the data
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (may be required)
+ Working knowledge of J-STD, GD&T and IPC standards
+ Ability to read and interpret Contracts, SOW, T&Cs and translate into Quality requirements
+ Non-Conforming material management, Root Cause and Corrective/ Preventive Action, trend analysis
+ Fluency in computer skills with ability to work in MRP/ERP systems
+ ASQ Certification, Lean 6 Sigma certification
+ Work ethics, enthusiasm, good listening skills, excellent collaborator, respectful and willing to help and support others
