The Quality Engineer will be responsible for providing technical and quality support to the organization by utilizing modern quality improvement practices and techniques with concentration on production support, warranty reduction and process improvement to help improve customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the APU Manager and will operate daily out of the Fresno, CA facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa. **Your main responsibilities:** + Provides quality support to value stream teams and assists in developing, implementing, and sustaining quality systems and practices. + Acts as an effective member of cross-functional teams to improve products, processes, and services to reduce costs. + Assists Customer Complaint handlers with compliant resolution. + Provides statistical process control support; assists in implementing control plans, charts, and capability studies. + Assists in new/modified product production at the NPI stage to ensure quality and reliability of the product. + Monitors and analyzes quality performance in manufacturing and providing core information for improvements while providing Plant management with information about quality performance in production. + Provides statistical analysis of data with information about reasons and corrective action presented using plant or group templates via the FAS system. **Your background:** **We imagine that you have:** + A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required with a master’s degree being preferred. + A minimum of 3-5 years of equivalent quality experience in a comparable environment. + Previous Quality experience within the Pump industry is highly preferred. + Prior experience with SAP is preferred. + The ability to operate daily out of the Fresno, CA facility. In Fresno, CA the annual salary range for this position is $69,065-$93,571.
