As a Quality Engineer I, you'll ensure all quality standards are met for our operations programs. You'll participate in the audits of operations in maintenance and modification program and other areas to to assess compliance to AS9100 quality management system standards. You'll write audit checklists, assist in reviewing and evaluating program and customer requirements. You'll provide support during planning, organizing, and conducting of our projects involving the design and development of new evaluation and control processes utilizing statistical analysis and other control/risk mitigation techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Work to an annual audit schedule covering many aspects of the business.
• Perform audits following company standards built around CMMI and AS9100.
• Issue Corrective Actions as necessary and assist with Root Cause Analysis.
• Complete annual goals in a timely manner.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience
             •Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
             •Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Knowledge of Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements
• Experience in manufacturing and inspection
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO9001
• Experience in root cause analysis techniques
• Experience in conducting internal audits

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $71,338.47 - $98,090.40. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
