Our Quality Engineers work collaboratively within our Product Development teams to set the technical direction for our SaaS products, develop easy-to-use solutions for our customers and ensure the delivery of high quality, maintainable and observable software.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a passion and commitment to quality software, loves learning new and emerging technologies, and is driven to help build a successful SaaS product used by thousands of happy businesses. We practice and value modern agile methods and a whole team approach to quality.Your Impact:Design quality into the development process by engaging the entire product development team in the delivery of quality softwareConduct and/or guide exploratory software testing to identify areas of improvement for our web-based applicationsTest new product features as part of our user story-driven, Agile/Scrum software development processCollaborate closely with software developers to resolve issues discovered during testingGuide the team developing and contribute automated tests Coordinate across teams to ensure preparedness for each software releaseAssist in backlog grooming for upcoming development sprintsEncourage and advocate team ownership of software quality
Qualifications:Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of technical coursework and practical experience.2+ years of experience working in quality engineeringExperience in writing automated tests using Capybara/Selenium or other automation frameworksAn understanding of best practices in balancing automation and exploratory testingExperience with CI/CDExperience using SQLExperience with Git and version control best practicesAnalytical, organizational, and time-management skills with high attention to detailExperience in developing and executing exploratory testsA risk-aware mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality product to customersA commitment to quality, and an enthusiasm for engaging with customersStrong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with development teams and product ownersExperience with Agile/Scrum software development process in a SaaS environment

Experience with Ruby on RailsExperience with ReactExperience with AI and LLMsCompensation & BenefitsThe base salary/hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $80,000-$115,000The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc. Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
