Quality Engineer II

You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge microelectronics devices. You will be responsible for implementing and improving quality control processes, analyzing manufacturing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: + Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for microelectronics manufacturing processes. + Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues, identify corrective and preventative actions, and track their effectiveness. + Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and process performance. + Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends and areas for improvement. + Conduct failure analysis investigations to determine the root cause of defects. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations and skilled operators) to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. + Participate in process audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. + Support the development and implementation of new products and manufacturing processes. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation. + Facilitate Six Sigma projects and training/mentoring of statistical processes. + Lead and support Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) preparation and maintenance. + Support all areas of manufacturing in Continuous Improvement activities. **_Because this role involves a combination of independent and collaborative work, this position can be conducted 100% on site_** **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** **Required Education, Experience, & Skills:** + Bachelor s Degree with 0-2 years of experience, or 4-6 years of experience in lieu of degree. + Ability to acquire a Department of Defense security clearance. + Strong understanding of engineering drawings and quality management system documentation. + Ability to communicate with peers and skilled labor within the company. + Knowledge of Quality Management System Documentation as it relates to production practices. + Possess strong written and verbal skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office products + Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using statistical software (e.g., Minitab) + Proven ability to facilitate and lead PFMEA workshops. + Demonstrable background in Root Cause/Corrective Action and data analysis + Ability to work in a Clean Room environment. + Ability to work independently and proactively. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:** + Background in AS9100/ISO9000 standards. + Strong foundation in Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., DMAIC project management, PFMEA facilitation, statistical analysis tools). + Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles. + Understanding of Microelectronics manufacturing methods and processes. + Working knowledge of Oracle **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $120250 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
