Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will define, deploy and support a quality culture within local ABB, by assuring and controlling quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Bartlesville, OK.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPerforming complex quality assurance assignments requiring diversified knowledge of engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives. Proactively seek and implement initiatives to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction.•\tManaging production related product and process quality issues, perform root cause analysis and lead the implementation of the corrective actions to solve problems. Challenges the teams with customer experience feedback and input to decisions. Enable and coaches employees to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view.•\tImplementing quality control plans and define an approach to improve product quality based on FMEA and risk evaluation. Strive to eliminate all escaped product quality defects.•\tUsing prior theoretical learning or knowledge of methods and technologies to execute work assignments using established solutions. May work under direct supervision or independently. May instruct or coach junior colleagues.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in engineering or related field\t5+ years of experience relevant experience, preferably with instrumentation product manufacturing units\tKnowledge of the following principles and should be able to elaborate the concepts: lean manufacturing, 8D reports, PPAP, APQP\tExperience with FMEA and Value Stream Mapping would be a plus\tGreen Belt or Black Belt in Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred; Lead Auditor certification a plus\tGreat communication skills and diplomacy to deal with internal and external product quality issues \tExperience with Minitab or strong knowledge of statistics and data analysis preferred\tWe are unable to sponsor an employment visa at this time for this role.
