Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to support the surveillance and execution of our Local Management System through internal audits. You will ensure that non-conformities are effectively closed, collaborate with various stakeholders to provide support during the evaluation of customer-specific requirements regarding the Quality Management System and Warranty requirements, and define new quality strategies and system tools as market requirements change or new business is acquired. You will also drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance the Local Quality Management System, monitor and analyze Quality Key Performance Indicators, and support manufacturing projects.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the surveillance and execution of the Local Management System through internal audits.Ensure that non-conformities are effectively closed.Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide support during the evaluation of customer-specific requirements regarding the Quality Management System and Warranty requirements.Define and identify new quality strategies and quality system tools as market requirements change or new business is acquired.Seek out opportunities to drive continuous improvement efforts with the goal of enhancing the Local Quality Management System.Monitor, evaluate, analyze, and support the improvement of Quality Key Performance Indicators and guide improvement projects.Execute internal system and process audits.Provide quality engineering support to manufacturing projects or problems.Participate in promoting safety and perform necessary functions to adhere to ISO/AS standards.Prepare and analyze KPIs and reports.Initiate, oversee, and ensure completion of Final Quality Assurance (FQA) processes.Essential SkillsKnowledge of ISO, AS, and QS 9000 quality systems.Proficiency in MS Excel.Minimum of 1-3 years of quality experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications4-year Bachelor's Degree.Experience with quality engineering, ISO 9001, AS9100, and root cause analysis.Ability to communicate effectively with vendors.Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The work environment includes a moderate to loud production setting with equipment and machinery, primarily supporting aerospace customers. You will report to the Quality Manager and interact with the quality/production team on the floor. The standard production schedule is 4 AM to 2:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 11 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
