Belcan is actively seeking to hire a Quality Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, direct position offers full benefits and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in quality engineering. Ideal candidates will bring a technical engineering degree and relevant experience in quality engineering, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough quality investigations and coordinate the communication of failure analysis reports with stakeholders.
* Analyze and report on first-pass yield data, driving quality improvements and operational efficiency.
* Lead and coordinate meetings with stakeholders to advance investigations and reach effective conclusions.
* Mentor team members on quality-related issues, fostering a collaborative and proactive quality culture.
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for reviews, ensuring transparency and effective communication of quality metrics.
* Lead Multi-Component Analysis Board (MCAB) meetings, presenting findings and guiding discussions on quality enhancements.
Essential Qualifications:
* A Bachelor"s degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution, or a combination of education and extensive professional experience.
* Proficient in data analysis, with a keen ability to identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Strong communication skills, capable of effectively coordinating with stakeholders and leading quality discussions.
* Independent and motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring minimal supervision.
* Team-oriented, with a belief in the power of collaboration and teamwork.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SAP.
* Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
* Prior experience in electronic manufacturing and/or electronic assembly environments.
* Background in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
* Lean Six Sigma certification or experience.
