Kforce is working with a well-known insurance firm and they are in search of a Quality Engineer/QA Engineer with Guidewire experience. This position is remote, full time. QA Engineer - Guidewire - Summary: The Quality Engineer will design test strategy and automation frameworks and provide quality assurance support to the product development team, resolving bugs, defects, and other potential issues and ensuring that products meet customer specifications-experience with Guidewire Policy Center is important. The travel is super light (around 25% a year) to New Jersey/NY locations for training or critical project meetings. Responsibilities: * Create Guidewire test approaches and strategy for Insurance implementations * Set up test processes and drive continuous efficiencies * Participate in daily sprint stand ups and plan for test execution of stories, features, and epics * Build sprint test design and execution plans * Manage allocation and assignments and drive test progress * Build test plans and approaches for time travel testing including the planning associated towards required environments * Participate in business requirements reviews and provide feedback to developers * Work with business towards test design reviews, incorporating feedback and test results sign off * Define test automation strategy towards meeting functional and non-functional requirements and drive the implementation * Document defects where required and own them towards closure helping the dev teams on retesting and prioritization * Demonstrate solution progress at regular intervals to the program stakeholders * Identify the test dependencies well ahead and plan to meet them with right stakeholders involved in a timely manner
