Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an **Associate Quality Engineer** to join our team in **Enfield, CT.** **The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at above mentioned location.** **Position Responsibilities:** + Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status. + Conducts customer quality reviews with customers and internal BDSI organization. + Conducts Corrective Actions Board (CAB) with customers. + Ensures RCCA meet customer requirements and response time. + Lead all on customer scorecards metrics to achieve a 100% rating. + Works to address non-conforming events + Leads all purge activities and ensure containment is within 48 hours globally. + Works with customer on RMA product and submits documents for MRB approval. + Writes quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections plans for customer products. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field of study + 2 - 4 years of related work experience + Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience + Experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA) + Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel) **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering + Six Sigma certification + Previous Aerospace experience **Travel:** This position may require traveling up to 25% of the time. **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies _._ **Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
