Description:What You Will Be Doing
• Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Supplier Performance Management Team seeking Staff Quality Engineer who will have the opportunity to join a team of highly competent quality and engineering professionals involved in ensuring procured hardware/firmware & service products meet design, manufacturing & Counterfeit Protection Plan requirements externally/internally across Aeronautics & other Business areas. Provide expertise on Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) Manufacturing utilizing & J-STD-001/IPC-A-610, industry & DFAR requirements. Perform preventative engagement surveillances & auditing of sites, both supplier & testing houses, participate in GIDEP evaluations, Non-OEM procured hardware compliance and provide expertise for CCA manufacturing, process and product evaluations and assessments and validate key process capabilities.

• Selected candidate will utilize statistical methods and preventive action methods to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets.

• Responsible for root cause, corrective and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations.

• Collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field.
2. Industry/quality experience in J-STD-001/IPC-A-610, Counterfeit control/prevention
3. Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations Be able to present and interface with program and senior customers
5. Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
1. Experience in Quality Management Systems, e.g., International (ISO), National (AS) standards.
2. Green Belt, Black Belt, ASQ CQE or CMQQE training/certification
3. Quality science expertise in the following areas: statistical analysis, statistical process control, sampling, six sigma, FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, process auditing or validation, and supplier quality management
4. Data analytics skills, Microsoft suite experience: Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
