Description:You will be the Quality Engineer Staff for the Lockheed Martin RF Product Center Quality Assurance (QA) Engineering team in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes, and you will play a key role in developing and implementing quality standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Subcontracting, Program Management, suppliers, and other Lockheed Martin Business Units to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product development process. You will develop, review, and implement quality standards, processes, and procedures to support the production of high-quality products.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Developing and reviewing quality standards, processes, methods, work instructions, and procedures for manufactured and procured products
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are implemented and met
-Evaluating designs to ensure producibility and smooth production flow
-Identifying, trending, and resolving non-conformances in a timely manner
-Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and drive affordability and efficiency

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above from an accredited college in one of the following disciplines:
Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

Must have ability to obtain and maintain a
security clearance

Previous quality engineering experience in
developing and reviewing quality
standards, methods, work instructions and
procedures for the development of
manufactured and procured product

Thorough understanding of Quality
principles in Aerospace industry
Demonstrated understanding of audit
techniques

Thorough understanding of engineering
requirements and inspection methods
Ability to interpret drawings and
specifications

Experience with control and disposition of
non-conforming Material (Material Review
Board)

Experience solving complex problems
associated with the quality of products and
in Quality Management processes

Capable of performing root cause analysis
and identifying solutions to complex
problems

Quality Engineering experience with FMEA,
Production Line Moves and Validations and
Process Control Plan tool development,
implementation, and training.

Experience working with Government
customers

Ability to influence outcomes

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office
applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Effective communication skills (both written
and verbal)

Must be able to effectively communicate
and interact with Technical Operations,
Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders

Demonstrated presentation skills

Ability to travel
Desired Skills:
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and /
or Certified Quality Improvement Associate
(CQIA) Certification

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
Certification

Effective interpersonal skills including team
building and collaboration

SAP / ERP experience

Experience with MRA/Readiness Reviews

Development program experience

Hardware Quality Engineering experience

Experience with Production Operations

A strong understanding of Geometric
Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Thorough understanding in AS9100 and
ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
