The Quality Engineer – ensures that products meet specified quality and safety standards throughout their lifecycle, from design to production and post-manufacturing processes. Their main role is to ensure that every product or service a company produces is of consistent and high quality by implementing effective quality control procedures and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities of Quality Engineer:
Collaborate with teams to support product development and process improvement. Lead and participate in quality and regulatory procedure development. Apply statistical methods to evaluate processes and improvements. Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards. Conduct audits and resolve quality issues with suppliers. Drive continuous improvement in product and process quality.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the medical device industry. Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards. Working knowledge of Quality Tools – CAD/SolidWorks/Lean/Six Sigma/Sampling Principles and AQL,TQM, Technical Writing/Metrology & Calibration, Inspection and Testing. Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Experience with quality tools and statistical analysis. Able to work in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills. Great communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to make presentations to middle and upper management. Proven Project Management skills.
